Sitting pretty under century-old vaults adorned with artworks, Solum is an eclectic spot with its idiosyncratic décor boosted by oversized teddy bear sculptures, Victorian streetlamps and a profusion of greenery. Not only does Solum offer an authentic guinguette that hums with Parisian charm, there is also live music and colourful food courtesy of Peruvian favourite, Mikuna. On Fridays and Saturdays, once the sun has set behind the Seine, expect an infectious atmosphere with a mix of tropical house, future beats, soul, funk, or whatever the DJ – or the crowd – is in the mood for.
The expansive 300 square metre terrace with sweeping views across the city is the perfect place for a post-work cocktail or a celebration with a group of friends – with plenty of room to spread out. The menu is equally as enticing with Latin street food favourites including ceviche, empanadas and anticuchos (Peruvian meat skewers).
