Bourgeois. Gastronomic. Arty. These are just some of the words that spring to mind when one thinks of the elegant Monsieur Bleu. Taking up residence in the Palais de Tokyo, the multi-talented gent excels at burning the candle at both ends. From cooking to entertaining – sometimes even throwing some singing and dancing into the mix – Monsieur Bleu is an institution in himself. Playing on a traditional French cuisine with a sprinkling of international touches, for dinners with friends, family gatherings, meetings between creatives, business lunches, and animated nights, this is a place to meet, eat, share, exchange ideas, and dance.
The cosmopolitan space was conceived and designed by architect Joseph Dirand. Featuring a bar, lounge, restaurant, private dining quarters and terrace – perfect for sun-dappled days – the design is as eye-catching as the convivial clientele.
Not to be overshadowed by the setting, the seasonal fare is exceptional too. Bruschetta with stracciatella cheese and San Daniele prosciutto is a wonderful way to get things started. On the dessert front, the bourbon vanilla napoleon prides itself on its ethereal layers and subtle crunch.
Artsy, refined and utterly delicious. Monsieur Bleu wouldn’t have it any other way.
