Nestled in a multi-storey historic mansion in the 16th arrondissement, Maison Revka is now, quite possibly, Paris’s most beguiling and aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The gothic style residence lives and breathes history, with striking details and surprising nuances everywhere you look. The outdoors is brought in with birds taking flight in ornate lighting features. The interior is a gorgeous exercise in sumptuousness with plush rugs, velvet seating, gilded arches, an open fireplace, and varnished woodwork.
An ode to Slavic gourmet delights including smoked salmon, premium caviar and top-shelf vodka, the menu entices with dishes as regal as the setting itself. The art is in the details with caviars served in the hollow of the spoon, and clouds of pastry enveloping salmon making their way to delighted diners.
Be sure to pop into the shop, a veritable jewel box celebrating the Franco-Slavic art of living combining tableware and delicatessen offerings.
