When the highly-anticipated second volume of the Girafe adventures was unveiled, Paris sat up and took note. Located on the 9th floor of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine (The Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Architecture) La Suite takes up residence in the former apartment of the museum’s curator. With a private terrace and panoramic views over Paris’ swoon-worthy rooftops, La Suite can comfortably seat 100 for lunch and dinner.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor and mentor, the emphasis of the menu is on contemporary marine cuisine, with seafood and fresh fish served in every raw, grilled, baked, shucked and steamed shape and form. Start with an ethereally light crab cake or a seabass tartare dressed with zingy dewdrops of pomegranate, before moving onto a plump pearly turbot with sweet onions, or a truffle-adorned chicken à deux.
